Faye Thompson attended London International Shipping Week 2023 representing Peninsula. She participated in the “Managing your supply chain risk” panel, in which industry experts discussed the biggest challenges facing the sector, including geopolitical uncertainty, the complexities of sanctions, and the adoption of #decarbonisation.
Faye highlighted “We are about to embark on a journey towards a multifuel world with transition phases in between, and we don’t quite know how that looks in the long term. In the short to medium term, we’re likely to see an uptake in the use of drop-in biofuels, bio-blends and LNG, to reduce the CO2 factors before e-fuels pick up”.
